Evaluations of Work

As a group we are very pleased with our promotional package. Aspects of it have been extremely difficult and overwhelming at times however as a group we have overcome a lot of barriers and produced what we feel is a very successful product and ancillary texts. If we were to film again, we potentially could have begun our filming slightly earlier as we left it quite late meaning that editing was tight. Though this had little impact on the quality we were aiming to achieve.

Final Music


Firstly, we chose singer/songwriter Jack Rosies' song in order to conform to the music usually used in social realism films. However, this song did not fit with our narrative as the lyrics did not link and the were distracting from our film. We then involved a cover of 'People help the People', believing that is was copyright free, however, we later realised it wasn't and changed it to "Lost" by A Hamitsu. We also thought that is fitted with the upbeat rhythm of our trailer and the action involved. 

For the beginning of our trailer we needed to create some party music, we decided to do this on garageband ourselves. Here's how:
